Gebratene kochbananen

Die Kochbananen schälen und in 2,5 cm große Stücke schneiden. Braten Sie die Bananenstückchen bei 185°C für 5 Minuten, oder solange bis sie goldig werden. Danach aus der Pfanne nehmen und auf einem Papiertuch gut abtrocknen lassen. Die Stücke sind nun weicher und können einfach flach gepresst werden. Wer kein „Quetschi“ (Tostonera) hat, kann auch einfach mit einem Glas, Teller oder sonst einem flachen Gegenstand die Stücke pressen. Vorsichtig ablösen. Die gepressten Platanos werden erneut im heißen Öl gebraten bis sie knusprig und goldig sind (für ca. 3 Minuten bei 185°C). Aus der Pfanne nehmen und auf Küchenpapier abtrocknen. Mit Salz und Mojo-Knoblauchsauce würzen. Für weichere gebratene Kochbananen nach dem ersten Braten einige Minuten im Salzwasser einweichen, abtropfen lassen und wieder anbraten.
